Ceiling Repair and Texture

PHB construction was hired to repair this plaster ceiling in Grand Rapids.
The horse hair plaster ceiling had cracks that were noticeable and detracted from the classic craftsman style home.
The homeowner requested a swirl texture added after the repairs.
The ceiling cracks was repaired and feathered out.
The dry compound was then sanded smooth.
Using a negative air pressure machine and plastic containment walls all dust was contained and exhausted to the outdoors.
After the sanding was complete the entire ceiling was primed with two coats of primer.
The swirl texture was applied to the kitchen area.
A larger swirl pattern was added to the living room.
The work area was cleaned up and the homeowner was able to entertain guests the next day for St. Patrick's day.
